These terms relate to your use of the site only. When you proceed with a boiler purchase or installation, you enter into a separate contract with our installation partner (see section 5). These terms do not govern that contract.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the site, request a quote, or make a purchase. By using the site, you confirm that you are 18 or over.
3. What the site does
Brainy Boilers is a platform that helps homeowners find and purchase boiler installations. The site provides:
- AI-powered assistants that collect information about your property and heating needs
- Automated boiler recommendations based on the information you provide
- Online quoting and purchasing
- Access to finance options provided by our installation partner
The site is a platform that connects you with installation partners. Carpe Lab LTD does not itself install boilers, provide heating advice, or arrange finance.
4. AI assistants
The site uses artificial intelligence to assist you. You should be aware of the following:
You are interacting with AI, not a human. Our AI assistants (including those that may introduce themselves by name) are automated systems. They are not human advisors.
AI-generated content has limitations. Quotes, recommendations, and information provided by our AI assistants are generated automatically based on the information you provide. Accuracy of information you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to our AI assistants (including property details, contact information, and heating requirements) is accurate and complete. Inaccurate information may result in incorrect quotes or recommendations.
5. Your contract with our installation partner
Carpe Lab LTD operates the site as a platform. When you proceed with a boiler purchase, you enter into a direct contract with our installation partner. Our current installation partner is:

That contract is governed by the installation partner's own terms and conditions, which you will be asked to accept before making payment. You can review them at Partner Terms.
Carpe Lab LTD is not a party to the contract between you and the installation partner. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or timeliness of any installation work
- Any warranties or guarantees relating to the boiler or installation
- The arrangement of finance or credit
- Any disputes between you and the installation partner
Any complaints about the installation or service should be directed to the installation partner.
6. Finance
Where finance options are displayed on the site, these are provided by Ewan McLean LTD in their capacity as an FCA-authorised credit broker (FRN: 767734). Carpe Lab LTD does not arrange, advise on, or provide finance. All finance is subject to status and affordability.

7. Prices and quotes
Prices and quotes displayed on the site are generated by our AI systems based on the information you provide. They are indicative and may change following a survey or further assessment by the installation partner. The final price is confirmed by the installation partner before you enter into a contract with them.
Carpe Lab LTD does not set or control the prices charged by installation partners.
8. Communications and marketing
By providing your contact details through the site, you agree that Carpe Lab LTD may contact you by email or SMS in relation to your quote enquiry.
We may also send you marketing communications about our services, offers, and related products. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
- Clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
- Replying STOP to any marketing SMS
- Contacting us at legal@carpe-lab.com
Opting out of marketing will not affect transactional messages related to an active quote or purchase.
Your installation partner may also contact you separately in relation to your installation and service. Their communications are governed by their own privacy practices.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the site — including text, design, logos, graphics, AI systems, and software — is owned by Carpe Lab LTD or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the site without our prior written permission.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Provide false or misleading information to our AI assistants
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the site's systems or security
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the site without our permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate our AI systems or algorithms
- Use the site to harass, abuse, or harm others
We reserve the right to suspend or block access to the site if we reasonably believe you are breaching these terms.

Carpe Lab LTD's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the site shall not exceed £100.

- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated quotes, recommendations, or content
- Any loss of data, business, revenue, or profit arising from your use of the site
- Any indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
